Dosage Schedule For Life Cell Immune Support
Life Cell Immune Support can be used for:
- The treatment of Parvo (i.e. when it has already been confirmed that your dog has Parvo, or when he is showing the classic symptoms of Parvo, such as yellow, frothy vomit, bloody diarrhea, lethargy and dehydration).
In this situation, Life Cell Immune Support will give your dog's immune system a much-needed boost and help to stimulate cell regeneration.
- The prevention of Parvo (i.e. when you believe your dog has been exposed to Parvo, but is not yet showing any of the symptoms).
When used in this manner, the Life Cell Immune Support will, in most cases, help to prevent your dog from ever showing any Parvo symptoms (i.e. it's like he was never infected), and in the cases of the stronger, newer strains such as 2c (aka F-Strain), the effects of the Parvo will not be as severe as would be the case if you didn't administer preventative doses of this product.
The dosage schedules for these two uses are very different, and are shown below. Please make sure that you select the correct one.

What Is Parvo?
Parvo, or Canine Parvovirus, is a viral disease that attacks the lining of the intestinal tract and immune system of dogs, and especially puppies, who are more prone to this virus than adult dogs.
The Parvovirus can cause vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, depression, dehydration, high fever and sudden death.
Parvo is often fatal and strikes suddenly, causing your pet to become extremely ill. Without treatment the animal often dies within a few days.
Dehydration is the number one cause of death with the Parvovirus, which is caused by the frequent diarrhea and vomiting that leads to extreme shock.
They can also pass away from loss of blood, major organ failure, infection (caused by the intestinal barrier being broken down, allowing harmful bacteria to invade the entire body) and low blood sugar.

Parvo Vaccines
While we would always recommend vaccinations, you should be aware that most are not able to fully protect your dog from the latest 2c strain of Parvo, which is even more aggressive than the older strains.
The only vaccines we are aware of that have been 100% challenge-tested against the 2c strain are PROGARD and Continuum, both of which are made by Intervet.
