In order to be compliant with the manufacturer's requirements, we have to sell Parvaid with Vibactra Plus and Life Cell Support as a minimum for Parvo prevention (as in the case of dogs recently exposed to the virus but not yet showing symptoms). If any of your dogs are already sick, then you will also need Pet's Pain Formula.

These days, Parvaid alone is not nearly powerful enough to handle the latest 2c strain of Parvo. To maximise your dog's chance of survival, you need to get a Gold Value Pack.

How much time do I have?

In a couple of words, almost NONE.

Parvo is extremely fast-acting and highly contagious. Your dogs can have the virus in their system anywhere from 3 to 15 days without showing any symptoms.

But don't be fooled into thinking that the virus is NOT dormant - it is very alive and consuming vital materials, including bone marrow, in readiness for a full-scale assault on your dog's other vital systems (e.g. the intestinal tract lining, areas of the heart).

In other words, it's been destroying things for several days (typically a week, but maybe even longer), long before you saw your first symptom.

Once you do see the first symptoms, you have anywhere from six hours to 72 hours, in order to counteract what this virus has done, and this can be barely any time at all.

For best results, if you've seen ANY symptoms for one or two days, place your order immediately, 24 hours a day 7 days a week, by phone or Internet. By taking speedy action, you are giving your dog an excellent chance of a full recovery. Three days or even more is not too late, but it will be more of a struggle, because by that time the virus has done a lot of damage to your dog.

This is both disheartening and sad, and unfortunately, we hear this exact scenario almost every single day.

The problem is, Parvo has evolved a lot since it first appeared in the 1970s, and the vet treatments have not. They are still giving antibiotics, hydration fluids, and perhaps some anti-nausea drugs. Which dogs do I need to treat?

We strongly recommend treating every single dog that is on your property. That includes both sick dogs, with Parvo symptoms, as well as any exposed dogs, not yet showing symptoms, because our experience in dealing with over 800 cases shows that once one dog gets Parvo, it is very likely that others will too, maybe not immediately, but within a few days.

When filling out the Product Selector tool, you should therefore include every dog that is on your premises.

You will receive different dosage schedules for both scenarios.

Can I administer these products to healthy dogs as well as sick dogs?

Yes, you can administer all four of the products in our Gold Value Pack as a Parvo treatment to any dogs, with some exceptions, and if you do have both sick and healthy dogs, then we definitely recommend that you administer these products to all of your dogs, regardless of whether they are puppies or adults, or whether they are vaccinated or not - yes, even fully-vaccinated adult dogs are now getting Parvo, and dying from it if not treated.

For sick dogs, you will need all four of these products, as described above, whereas for healthy dogs, to prevent Parvo from developing in cases of exposure, you will only need Parvaid, Vibactra Plus and Life Cell Support.

Do the products work?

Yes, we have a very high success rate with these products.

For sick dogs (i.e. dogs that already have the Canine Parvo Virus, or are showing symptoms), our success rate is 90% or higher, which is much better than the 50:50 odds most vets will give your sick dog. The remaining 10%, where it is harder to beat the virus, comprise:

puppies that weigh less than three pounds
those puppies who have recently (i.e. within the last two to four weeks) been wormed or vaccinated
imitators of Parvo (i.e. diseases, viruses and bacteria that create symptoms that look like Parvo, but aren't).

To ensure the best chance of a successful outcome, it is imperative that you follow the full treatment plan we provide to the letter, and check in with us every four hours so that we can monitor your situation and make whatever adjustments to the treatment we deem necessary. Those customers who choose not to follow our comprehensive treatment plan and/or keep us up to date with their dog's situation usually have a reduced chance of a successful outcome.

For healthy dogs dogs, our success rate is close to 100% (i.e. it's as though the dog was never infected by Parvo in the first place), especially if you can administer the products within three to five days of the dog first being infected. Note that vets cannot offer you a similar preventative solution at all, other than vaccinations.

Are the products safe?

Yes, these products contain only human-grade herbs.

In particular, the Parvaid product has been available since 1997, and there have been no proven instances of any adverse effects on the thousands of dogs that have been treated using this product.

How much do I need, and how many dogs will it treat?

However, we are unable to answer this question accurately without knowing more about your dog(s).

Are these products cost-effective?

Vets typically charge anywhere from $100 to $300 to put a dog to sleep, whereas if you bought our products, you would not need to spend any more than $275.00, including overnight shipping, to treat any size of dog (even giant dogs such as Neapolitan Mastiffs), or, depending on their weight, several dogs.

In terms of Parvo treatment costs, then if you took your dog to the vet's, you can easily spend $500 to over $12,000 per dog (although they will usually only give your dog a 50:50 chance of survival), whereas if you spent $275.00 on our products, you would have a 90% or better chance of a full recovery and be able to treat one or more dogs, at home, using safe, easy-to-administer products that have zero side-effects.

How easy are the products to administer?

Home treatment for Parvo requires no special equipment and no training - anybody can use these home Parvovirus treatments.

In the vast majority of situations, all of our products are administered orally.

However, please note that you will need to administer some products every hour for at least three days, so if you're by yourself, you may need to enlist a friend, family member or neighbour to help you save your dog(s), and/or take time off work.

How can I keep my products from becoming contaminated?

Never put products back into the bottle if you've spilled them on the counter, for example - this will only contaminate the entire bottle, making it useless by introducing foreign materials into a previously clean, sterile environment.

Never put the eye dropper that comes with the products directly into the mouth of any infected dogs, regardless of whether they're showing Parvo symptoms or not.

Always put the drops in some food or liquid that the dog will readily consume (e.g. melted vanilla or strawberry ice cream, yoghourt, fruit juice, fruit cups, apple sauce, vanilla pudding, beef broth, Esbilac doggie replacement milk, Stage 1 baby food and/or puree and/or liquid foods, oatmeal if they can keep down solids) - this way, you will not contaminate your product.

If the dog refuses any of the above-mentioned items, or you just cannot get the dog to take the drops readily, then you may have to administer the products via a rectal enema. Please use separate, preferably plastic, eye droppers and be extremely careful as faecal matter is loaded with harmful bacteria.

Always thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water before handling your products (and both before and after handling your dog).

How long will the products last?

All of our products have a 4+ year shelf life (provided you keep them somewhere cool and dark, i.e. out of direct sunlight).

So, whether you have some left over after treating your sick or exposed dogs, or whether you are buying them to have on hand for emergencies (which we strongly recommend), they will remain usable for many years.

When can I get these products?

If your dogs are already sick, then we only use overnight shipping services - we will not compromise on this. (Our preference is FedEx, but we can arrange UPS if necessary, although we would advise you that FedEx is more reliable, in our experience.)

If, on the other hand, your dog is not sick and you are buying our products to have them on hand for emergencies, then you can also choose from USPS Priority Mail, USPS Express Mail and FedEx 2-Day, as speed of delivery is not as important in this situation.

We offer same-day shipping Monday though Friday (which is not the same as same-day delivery), provided that we receive your order by 3:00pm MST (GMT - 7).

We can also deliver to most US cities on Saturdays. (If FedEx don't deliver to your location on Saturdays, we will ship your package to your nearest FedEx depot so that you can collect it in person, as this is still better than waiting two or three more days.)

Note that there are NO shipments or deliveries on Sundays.

Can I use Pedialyte to treat Parvo?

Pedialyte can not effectively treat Parvo. There's nothing in Pedialyte to repair damage caused by the virus, treat infections caused by the virus, or eradicate the virus in any way, whereas Parvaid, Vibactra Plus and Life Cell Support specifically do those things and more.

Pedialyte is designed to replenish electrolyte balances and hydrate your dog, which is good because Parvo dehydrates dogs very easily. However, we have our Parvo Emergency Tea Recipe which you can download instantly, and that not only hydrates your dogs, it will also calm your dog's stomach and replenish some nutrients and help to stabilise your dog until your products arrive.

If my dog already has Parvo, will a Parvo vaccine help him?

No, no, no, no and no!

NEVER give your dog a Parvo vaccine if he has Parvo because what you are doing is actually giving the Parvovirus army lots of additional troops. This will accelerate the damage that's already being caused by the Parvovirus.

Some vets, especially those in some emergency clinics, will try to give your sick dog a Parvo shot, but you must not let them do this!

What you need are countermeasures - this is why you must order our products immediately.

Should I give a Parvo vaccine to my pregnant dog?

NO, as this is a worst-case scenario.

Most vaccines, especially Parvo shots, contain "modified" amounts of the live virus. So, if your dog did not have Parvo, you are actually introducing the virus into her system - this is a recipe for disaster for both her and the unborn pups.

If your dog is pregnant and you think she has Parvo or was recently exposed, then you need to treat her immediately. Use the Product Selector or give us a call and we'll help you to get through this.

Can I use these products along with products from the vet (e.g. antibiotics, SubQ fluids)?

Yes, these products are compatible with products you would get from your vet - they are organic and contain no chemicals or synthetics, so you should not have any problems in using both. The only possible exception to this is an antibiotic called Baytril, which you must not use at the same time as our products.

If you do want to use vet-prescribed antibiotics in conjunction with Vibactra Plus, which is our own herbal antibiotic, then you should give your dog some acidophilus (aka probiotics) too. You can get this from yoghourt, or acidophilus milk - please read the labels and make sure that the product contains these active bacteria.

But, you are going to want to monitor the overall liquid intake / fluid balance, so if you are using SubQ fluids then you may want to cut back on the tea recipes to maybe half portions, as too much fluid can cause damage, just like too little fluids can.

As with our domestic shipping, we only use FedEx if your dog is already sick; otherwise, you can also select USPS. Note, however, that while we will do everything in our power to get your products to you as fast as we can, once your package arrives in Customs in your country, it is out of our control completely. The survival rate decreases in those cases where puppies are not put on antibiotics at an appropriate time, as has been found in case histories. Because the virus is in the bone marrow, attacking the white blood cells, and in the intestinal tract consuming the lining and, due to vomiting, pneumonia is a risk factor. In fact, the lack of white blood cells can be a cause for secondary infections, which is why an antibiotic is highly recommended when treating Parvo.
